The world record for the most espressos made was set at 3,386 in March 2010. Then, it got unofficially broke by a team in Brisbane, Australia last year by 5,061 espressos in one hour.
On Saturday April 9th, 2011, the Guinness World Record was dramatically beat.At the first London Coffee Festival, A team called "The London Belle Baristas Team" just beat the record at 12,005 espressos in one hour. This averages out to be 3.33 espressos per second. They used 31 commercial espresso machines in order to do this.
