Gevalia Coffee

If you have ever taken a stroll down the aisle at a Wal-Mart you were bound to see "Gevalia Coffee" at least once. It usually has a yellow or blue writing on it. The Gevalia chocolate is wonderful. What exactly does Gevalia mean? Well, Gevalia is  a fancier word for Gavle.    Victor Theodore Engwall founded Gevalia coffee in the year 1853. The business opened up in the town of Gevle, Sweden and started importing the finest beans available to man. The business grew quickly because word that "Victor had great coffee" spread fast. Then, they officially became the coffee supplier to the Royal Court of Sweden. This coffee has a distinct taste to it that is rich and smooth. They make some great exotic teas as well. I have seen the Gevalia Coffee makers work wonderfully.

In argument of this, the Gevalia company has a bit of a language barrier when it comes to speaking English and talking to people in the United States. Therefore, if you order their coffee please use a money order instead of a paypal or debit card. Also, they are not BBB accredited; which companies overseas don't have to obtain. Except for this, they are a great company overall.

Cup Holders

Cup holders are AMAZING!
Enjoy your coffee for all it's worth!

This is the age of several different companies making self-driven cars. These cars can be driven hands free, have radar systems, are equipped with warning systems, and can see better than any driver at the wheel; someone may start to wonder how many <cup holders> do these cars have. This is because the people riding "shot gun" in these cars are obviously going to have more time to drink that extra cup of coffee. For the person driving shot gun with the latest google car had his hands off the wheel 90% of the time.

Well, rest assured that there will be cup holders in these cars, but if you would like to be able to catch a piece of feeling luxurious before buying a self driven car you could buy a detachable cup holder. Some of the companies that you might be able to buy  good cup holders from are, but not limited to: Hopkins, Black Auto, Britax, Car Mate, Gomadic, Britax, and Bugaboo. I, myself, are intrigued by the cup holder by Bugaboo. This cup holder is very easily installed and removed. It can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Someone does not have to worry about the cup falling out because it has good quality plastic and a cup fits firmly inside. It costs about $25 and can be purchased from Bugaboo, ebay, or even Amazon.

There is another cup holder that struck my curiosity. It was a cup holder that is a USB Port and has 2 outlets on it and a computer could easily plug in to it. Check out more by using the keyword Rally 7413 Cup Holder Power Inverter with USB Port. or look up squidoo car cup holders.

Aren't you excited about the technology of the future, but also want a little bit of excitement right now?

Here you are.... you have just started a diet and are trying to get back to your healthy normal self or maybe you are becoming worried about your health and feel like your out of control, but yet you are sitting down and drinking your second cup of coffee for the day. You might of had 5 cups of coffee the day before and you stop. You sit down for a moment and start to think. Is this brownish substance that smells wonderful and kicks me in the butt everyday really good or is it bad for my health?

Well, rest assured that it is not that bad as what someone can make it out to be. In fact, there are many health benefits from drinking coffee. There is a lot of evidence out there, such as the studies done by the University of Scranton, that actually show there are actual health perks to drinking this drink.

Here are just a few:
  1. 1 to 3 cups a day can lower the risk of cardiovascular disease in women
  2. Coffee is a leading antioxidant in America's adults today.
  3. People who drink coffee are at a much lower risk of accumulating gallstones.
  4. It may help prevent cancer and lots of other chronic diseases.
  5. Coffee has fiber in it which helps someone feel full and helps their digestive system.
  6. For those diabetics: It helps insulin to work.
  7. It helps prevent type 2 diabetes, dementia, and Parkinson's disease.
  8. It helps prevent the chance of getting sore muscles after an exercise; if it's drank close enough to exercise this is because it blocks adrenosine.
  9. It helps with short-term memory loss.
  10. If the trimmings are taken in moderation, it has less calories than a cup of orange juice in the morning (a 6fl. oz cup of black coffee has 7 calories without the extras).
Although there are many health benefits to drinking coffee. When someone is pregnant, they should be careful to not drink more than 12 fluid ounces a day because drinking plenty of coffee when pregnant may lead to miscarriages and premature delivery according to the Web MD website. Also, one should avoid coffee if they are experiencing heartburn.

Canned Coffee Anyone?

Did you know that there is such a thing as Canned Coffee? The Japanese launched this drink in the year 1969. The real uptake of this drink has not yet taken it's place in the American culture, but is very real in the Asian one. It might be because a lot of Americans still prefer their coffee warm. It looks like a can of soda, but is a can of coffee ready to be drunk. Bustelo Cool is one of these drinks. It is a cafe con leche and it's in a yellow and red can. Another one of these canned drinks is Jolt Espresso except for it is a coffee soda blend (it's company makes the ever famous drink Jolt.

Romney versus Santorum in the coffee world....

Did you know that Romney does not drink coffee? He does not drink any kind of caffeinated beverage and never even takes a nice sip of green tea. How will he ever be able to stay awake on those long national emergency nights? What will happen if he is the president, travels to an Asian country, and is offered tea in order to talk things over? or will he be too sleepy to do all of this?
According to a public service announcement a man named Alan Reynolds showed up to a Mitt Romney event and brought a sign with him that he thought would be taken well by the Latino voters. This sign read "Tea Party Includes Cuban Coffee Romney." Romney read the sign and Reynolds was kicked out of the event.

On the other hand, Rick Santorum not only drinks coffee. He often treats his fellow workers to coffee. There is a video on YouTube from December 31st, 2011 who shows him enjoying coffee at a Des Moines coffee house. This video shows him with various pastors and spiritual leaders. There is confidence in this video that he will be able to stay awake and be invigorated to fight the days and yesterdays battles. For if he feels tired, he will grab what he needs.

Did you know that coffee is grown in the United States?

The only place where coffee grows in the United States is Hawaii.
Imagine the climate of Hawaii,
The slopes of Mauna Loa,
the little island of Kauai,
and the beautiful plants that grow there.
If you look close enough you might even see a Mare.
The climate in this area is great
and the soil is up to date.
This is a great place
to help someone get coffee by the case.

Hawaii's coffee is superb when it comes to comparing it to Jamaica's Blue Mountain Coffee.
